Short Throw Projectors

Another amazing new concept is upon us and that is the dawn of Short Throw and Ultra Short Throw projectors. Most of you are already selling and installing these so this will be a good refresher for you. For those of you haven’t than here is your proper introduction.

Key advantage to using these options compared to ordinary projectors is it will eliminate any picture interference by individuals standing in front of the projector screen. It makes for an easier, cleaner installation. Stampede has all of the popular models to choose from. Like Hitachi’s CP-A100, ED-A100, CP-A52 or NEC has the WT610E & NP600S along with a widescreen version the NP500WS. Mitsubishi has the XD500U-ST and a widescreen model WD500U-ST. Sharp is offering the PG-F267X as their short throw model. Optoma offers the EX525ST. INFOCUS has model called the XS1.

Don’t forget about completing that install with a specially designed projector wall mount.  Hitachi has the A100WALLARM. You can use the PSTK-028 or PSTK-2955 from Peerless. Chief offers the WM series of single and dual stud mounting options.

You can even accompany these great projectors with an interactive whiteboard from Panasonic or Plus Corp.
